my vegetable garden
My vegetable garden: from front to back: lettuce, beets, bush beans, carrots, scallions, basil, cucumbers, yellow squash, tomatoes, blueberries and red raspberries.

My gardens from the coolness of the indoor AC. Its been hot out there. I like the way the camera caught the screen on the vege garden picture. The top pic is my dishwashing view, the other two are the diningroom.

Our garden birds. We used to get more types, but now its pretty much just sparrows. I suppose its because I don’t feed them anymore.
more planting in a wet garden
I planted three 6-packs of basil and another package of peas (snow peas). It’s still very rainy and wet here.
my tomatoes are planted
The tomatoes are in the ground. 16 plants: 6 early girl, 6 supersonic, 2 red brandywine and 2 yellow brandywine. The ground still seems cold, but sun and warmer weather are forecast. I planted 6 eggplants in with the flowers in the border against the house, hoping they will stay warmer there.

This is a journal of my vegetable gardens. Skippy thinks the garden is his, even though I do all the work. We're located near Boston, in USDA zone 6.
