Skippy pictures

The garden plants are so big and tall that Skippy and I can just hang out under the leaves on the stone path. Its like our own private jungle. We can watch the bees and spiders, listen to the sparrows and Skippy can watch the sidewalk for passing dogs and mailmen. more pictures of skipposts about Skippy

7 things about Skippy

I was tagged in the 7 things meme again (this time by Adekun at Adekun’s Japan Blog), so, since I just did this a couple weeks ago, I thought it must be Skippy’s turn. (woof!) So here are seven random things about the fluffy black puppy. Skippy was born on Easter two and a half years ago in a litter of 7 puppies (five sisters and one brother). dog days

This spot gets nice and warm in the early morning sun. Skippy likes to curl up there and wait for me. So much is growing so fast these days that I like to check all of the rows every day. While Skippy naps, I pull a few weeds, harvest some greens, check for bugs and take a few pictures. A…

Skippy by the garden

I know he has eyes under there somewhere! Skippy has very long and shaggy fur this week. I suppose that’s why he hasn’t been coming out to the garden much. Time for a good short summer clip. more pictures of skip

garden buddy

My gardening buddy has a new haircut. He is very happy about this – and much more comfortable. The garden got very hot today by 12 noon. Too hot to work (or even hang-out, which is Skippy’s job). So we finished up and went on to cooler occupations.
