an app for seed planting!

I’ve written a cute little app that reminds you when to plant your vegetables seeds. Set your own frost dates and pick your crops to grow. The app makes a calendar for you. And it has helpful tips and planting information for each vegetable. I hope you give it a try.

Some users have been disappointed that Skippy’s Calendar App doesn’t work on an IPad. On a tablet, the date selector doesn’t work. The app works great on phones. I am working on getting the app to work on a IPad, and that should happen soon.

At the Apple App Store the app is here: Skippy’s App for iOS.

For GooglePlay, use this link: Skippy’s App for android.

There are so many bad planting apps that I have paid for in the past that I no longer buy another without first having a free trial

  • A new version of my calendar app is out that fixes the glitches with the date selector. Actually the problem wasn’t tablets, it was compatibility with a new version of iOS.

Hi, I hope all is ok with you. We tried to update your extremely useful app and found it was not in the store. The current one doesn’t work on iOS 14.6.

Your app has made it so much easier for us to plan our garden – it’s actually fun!
