Mairiporã Seedlings are a physical manifestation of hope that bring a gentle smile every time I see them!
I started some leek seeds and garlic bulbits today… 😀
My seedlings are up now and I just started everything else I can. Looks good.
AWWW the sign of warmer weather to come…beautiful.
Amazing! What are they? They're so big!
Hah, nevermind. I remember you saying you had sown lettuces and things! I'm surprised how fast they grew!
Seedlings sprounting is a promise spring is coming! Got the feeling of great satisfaction when you see new seedlings coming up healthy and eager isn't it? Happy sowing more seeds!
I'm so jealous!! They look great!
Hello! your seedlings are doing very well, I had beautiful lettuce growin outside but have been attacked and eaten by snails, I understand you are doing your garden organically, so my question is What do you with the snail and slugs? is there any natural way to get rid of them?
Looking Good! I'm glad to see you space your lights appropriately (i.e. as close as possible).
they look beautiful

Three pictures speaks 3,000 words. Thanks for sharing.
I use sluggo pellets and crazy obsessive picking!! Slugs are a bad problem for me! I go out in the evening and search, search, search.
Slugs can be a big problem for lettuce. I admit to using the pellets too. Just a couple. But there have been some clever organic ideas elsewhere on this blog.
I use DE (diotomaceous earth)for slugs and snails. It tears them up when they travel over it. It's organic. You have to reapply when it rains, but it does work. There is no holding time from field to table with this method. DE has a bunch of uses in the garden.
