I planted 4 varieties and the first to bloom is Cascadia. An enation-resistant Northwest bred snap pea variety. (What on earth is enation???)
how tall are your Cascadias?
It's a type of mosaic virus that aphids can spread to pea plants.
p.s. I stumbled across your blog a while back and have enjoyed reading it. I'm in Newton, not too far from you 🙂
I'm envious–I think I'm still weeks away from blooms.
My Cacadians are about 2 feet tall now. Maybe a bit less. They have little peas forming.
