Garden notes:
Very late peppers and tomatoes. And small onions. That’s from planting outside too early this spring into my cold frame. An experiment.
As usual, my garden plot is way overgrown – I like to squeeze in as much as I can.
Beautiful popcorn, potatoes, garlic and eggplants. It may be a good year for my melons finally – fingers crossed as they continue to ripen and grow.

OMG! I thought you looked familiar! I met you in your plot at Victory Gardens on Wed. I was with my mother in law and my husband. I found your site last fall and found it most helpful in planning our garden this past spring. Hope to see you again!! Jeanette
What a haven. I'm with you on cramming stuff in, I know about light etc, but in order to grow everything we want to we just skimp on the gaps and select some compact varieties.

I also overpack my garden too. Sometimes intentionally and sometimes the plants just grow bigger than my research indicates.
What a lovely garden! Good luck on the melons, those always tend take a long time!
