Hey I like your use of the cornstalks for the peas! You are further along in the beginning of your season than I am, here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have a gardening blog too that I started in January-check it out-would love to share veggie info with you.. http://giantveggiegardener.com
That's excellent! My mom does the same thing for her peas too – she uses stuff from around her garden. She's always pulling dead branches off trees and saving anything long and sturdy from her garden.
Oh what a brilliant idea! and I could kick myself because I kept my corn stalks just for a bit of Winter interest on the patch, and cut them down and threw them out just last week. Grrrr!

Ooohhh. Good idea. maybe I could use my hibiscus stalks…
They look nice! Nothing better then organic structures in the garden.
Love that idea! I tried growing my peas near my corn, but the timing didn't work out too well!
Perfect choice!

i made tepees for my pees this year. I didn't realize you could plant peas so close together though! That's great!
That's a great idea!
Genius idea I love it! Great use for all of those skinny little branches that snapped off my oaks this winter…
Good idea!
