These are some photos from Skippy’s walk. The lighting was fantastic. The woods glow. Lots of yellow and orange leaves this year. Less bright reds.
Amazing how busy the chipmunks were. I suppose they’re gathering and hiding food. They scurried across the paths and rustled in the fallen leaves.
Skippy had a nice swim in the water hole and then ran like a crazy dog. He likes the crisp air.

I was out doing the same things this afternoon. We had nice 65ish weather but it was really grey. Looks like your had much sunnier sky's.

Most of these trails in the photos are actually in Waltham. They're on Met State land between Trapelo Rd (Waltham) and Concord Ave (Belmont). Only the lower photo is on the Belmont side of Beaver Brook. Its taken in Rock Meadow. These are nice walking areas. Use Google maps to find.
Thanks for those photos, Kathy. Looks like we missed some really fine days and beautiful trails while we were on vacation. We love hearing about your adventures with Skippy. It almost looks like he prefers running and swimming to his gardening!! Shame on him.
