Its been so dry, but the past two days brought 2 full inches of rain. I weeded well before this, but today the weeds are already thick! Amazing how fast they grow. It will give me a nice day of garden work tomorrow.

Thank goodness we finally got rain. I was thinking it would never happen. It looks like you got about 1/2" more than I did in Winchester.
If only all the veggies would grow as fast as the weeds….. *sigh*
Luckyyyyy. It's been over 2 weeks now with no rain here… and we live by Seattle!
I always get annoyed that when the world is watching England during Wimbledon fortnight.. we always get heavy rain!! I wish we got more rain the rest of the time because it's usually quite dry here in Summer!
After a very dry spring we just got over 2 inches in a few hours. Luckily it was just a good solid downpour. So, I am guessing that I don't need to water for a few days. More is expected. Let's hope that we don't get bad storms since we are in the same pattern that just clobbered the western midwest.
