The photos here are all from last Sunday, October 21. My tomatoes continue to produce more fruit than I can eat, but its fun trying. Especially with basil and local handmade mozzarella cheese! Today I should cook a batch of sauce. Nice eggplants too (although those yellow ones underneath were past ripe and went to the compost bin).

What a wonderful harvest. I would never be able to use those tomatoes since I don’t like them. Maybe try making some spaghetti sauce with them that should get rid of some.
WOW and Yummie! That looks great. Isn’t it wonderful with the harvest! I’ve chillies and a lot of greens left that’s it. No more tomatoes 🙁 lol Tyra
Skippy (and friends),
I’ve followed the garden this summer. I’m impressed.
I’m coming to you for help. I’ve got a tomato leaf problem. A purple color of the leaves that looks bad. I’m having problems getting to the bottom of it. If any of you get a chance, could you comment. I’ve posted a couple of pictures at:

Thanks.
I made some nice spaghetti sauce with many of the tomatoes. Its a nice meal for a cool fall evening.
About the purple leaves, maybe someone else has ideas too. I’ve never seen purple tomato leaves, but at the end of the season, tomato leaves changes all sorts of colors as the plants finish and die. My tomato leaves are turning yellow.
I looked up purple leaves and left a comment at your site. It seems like maybe its magnesium deficiency and cold temperatures. Good luck.
