green-eyed Susan?

I should have looked at the label of these flowers before I planted them. I don’t know what they are called. Something new, I guess – I never seen them before. They look very cheerful in the garden. I put them in next to my black-eyed Susan’s, which will not bloom ’til late July or August.

  • I think that they’re called “Irish Eyes” but you may want to google that–I’m not aware of other green-eyed ones, but they very well may exist.

I really just wanted to tell you that Skippy’s veggie garden looks good. He’ll be eating well soon! 😉

  • I think they’re rudbeckia prairie sun. I had them last year thinking they’d be black eyed susans. I remember reading that they are biennial and sure enough, mine did not come back this year.
