A sad good-bye to summer…

Something about the fall garden isn’t the same as the spring and summer one. I notice I’m not heading out there as much. I have fewer vegetable garden pictures to show. Instead I’m playing with my photos today.

  • …. here in 5a nights are consistently below 50 and we had our first, albeit light, frost this morning 9/25. My outdoor thermometer recorded 36 as the low at 6′ on my porch but there was obvious frost on the grass and lower leaves of some of the plants.

  • Wow, you’re much colder than us. We’re having record warm spell now. Days are near 90! and last night didn’t go below 70! I like warm, but this seems too warm for late Sept. We’re forecast to cool soon, but I still dont; expect a frost anytime soon. Last year not til early Nov.
